As our SIOP Manager, you will lead DG’s Production Control team and play a key role in developing and implementing our Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. You will oversee master production scheduling and capacity planning, strengthen alignment between customer demand and manufacturing execution, and drive improvements in operational efficiency and on-time delivery. • Provide direct leadership and oversight of the Production Control team, ensuring team performance and alignment with operational and company objectives.
• Oversee the Master Production Schedule (MPS), ensuring alignment between customer demand, production capacity, material availability, and inventory requirements.
• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of DG’s SIOP process to establish an integrated approach to demand and production planning.
• Oversee production and capacity planning to identify and address labor, equipment, and material constraints that may impact production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
• Establish, monitor, and analyze planning-related key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, material availability, and master schedule adherence (MSA).
• Drive continuous improvement in production planning, scheduling, materials planning, and material requirements planning to improve operational efficiency and on-time delivery.
• Ensure ERP system data accuracy related to production planning, scheduling, and material requirements planning, including investigation of discrepancies, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Stockroom, and Shipping & Receiving to address material shortages, replenishment requirements, and supplier-related constraints impacting production schedules.
• Utilize data and analytics to improve demand forecasting, production planning, inventory optimization, and supply chain visibility.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Sales, and Finance to align production priorities, resolve operational challenges, and support company objectives.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the Production Control Department.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Follow all DG safety procedures in accordance with company policies and the direction of the Facility Engineer/Safety Director.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in production planning or materials management within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving high product mix and complex production scheduling requirements.
