Holy Cross Medical Group is seeking a full-time APRN / Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our expanding Gastroenterology team in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Position SummaryPhysician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Gastroenterology, working in an established, cohesive group of 6 physicians and 3 advanced practitioners on one campus. The practice provides care for GI and liver conditions for both inpatients and outpatients, performing a full range of endoscopic procedures, cancer screening, diagnostic testing, and therapeutic interventions. The environment emphasizes quality, compassionate care, mentorship, and a team-based culture.

ShiftDaytime schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities- Inpatient and outpatient patient care responsibilities, seeing office patients on a standard daytime Monday–Friday schedule.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments including history and physical examinations; interpretation of diagnostic studies.
- Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic testing; develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and medication management.
- Assist with hospital rounding, consults, and discharge planning (as applicable).
- Participate in care coordination with other providers and specialties; document all patient encounters in the Electronic Medical Record.
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practice standards.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- National APRN certification or national board certification as a Physician Assistant.
- Current Florida PA or APRN license.
- BLS/ACLS Certification.
- Preferred: 2+ years of clinical experience with an interest in gastrointestinal diseases; experience with Epic EMR.
