Overview
Under general supervision, renders professional nursing care in accordance with physicians' treatment plans in order to provide for the comfort and well-being of patients at Broward Health Medical Center.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' condition, administer prescribed drugs, provide treatments, observe patients' progress, record pertinent observations and report reactions to drugs and treatments. Assist physicians with examinations and prepare instruments and equipment for physicians' use.
- Minimum Education and/or:
Graduate of an accredited nursing school (AD in Nursing, RN Diploma, or BSN); or if attended an approved nursing school must have two years of recent acute care hospital experience in the past three years.
- One to two years’ experience required. Newly licensed RN may apply but may need to complete appropriate specialty training for the area.
- Registered Nurse
- BLS and ACLS through AHA or Red Cross
