Summary

Under general supervision, renders professional nursing care in accordance with physicians' treatment plans to provide comfort and well-being for patients. The RN assesses patients' conditions, administers prescribed drugs, provides treatments, observes patients' progress, records pertinent observations, and reports reactions to drugs and treatments. The RN assists physicians with examinations and prepares instruments and equipment for physicians' use.
