Overview
MyCare Medical is actively seeking a full-time, certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We are a medical practice specializing in primary care. We deliver high-quality care to our patients at the lowest costs available. Our company is physician-founded and dyad-led, with a structural support system to ensure that providers can focus on patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care in an outpatient setting (outpatient, 100%)
- On-call services may be required for this role
- Engage in continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention, collaborating with patients and their families to manage a population with multiple comorbidities
- Work as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes
- Prioritize preventative care and proactive management of chronic conditions to improve outcomes, reduce costs, and support the practice’s goals
- Manage an adult-aged patient population
- Utilize the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system (eClinical Works) and partnering programs for patient and practice efficiency
- Be comfortable providing care in both clinic and home settings as appropriate
- certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC); certification focused on adult medicine for NPs OR certification through an accredited PA program focusing on adult medicine
- Currently licensed as an Acute, Adult/Gerontological or Family Nurse Practitioner in the practicing state or able to obtain licensure before employment
- Ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Holds or is eligible for DEA licensure and CDS licensure (if required in the state of practice)
- Up-to-date CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Experience with Medical Advantage, HEIDS, MRA, and ICD-10 coding (2 years preferred)
- Comfortable managing a primarily adult-aged patient population
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve complex and multifaceted situations
- Full-time position with standard business hours:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm - Option to work part-time in the clinic and part-time seeing patients at home
- 100% outpatient care

- Salary: base $125,000–$145,000 depending on experience, with potential additional bonuses up to 15% of base salary
- Full support from in-clinic and Central Business Office to allow providers to focus on patient care
