Nurse Educator
Role:
Regional Nurse Educator responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs for nursing staff to ensure competence in caring for adults with mental illness, substance use disorders, and chronic medical conditions.
Key Duties:Design and deliver educational sessions, monitor staff progress, ensure compliance with regulations, collaborate with community nursing schools, oversee training activities such as CPR and ERMA, and provide personalized training to healthcare personnel.
Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field, RN license, 1-2 years of psychiatric mental health nursing experience, educator experience preferred, excellent communication and organizational skills, and experience in Performance Improvement is a plus.
Additional Requirements:Strong collaboration skills, ability to develop and maintain training databases, and leadership in compliance and accreditation activities.
