The ideal candidate will have experience in general Neurology will work collaboratively under the supervision of the physician and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
The Phil Smith Neuroscience Institute at Holy Cross Health is home to 8 Neurologists, 2 Neurosurgeons, 2 Interventional Neuroradiologists and 8 Advanced Practice Providers, providing a vast array of neurological services including multi-disciplinary clinics for ALS and Parkinson's Disease. Our service line also includes Neuro Critical Care, Interventional Spine and Pain, and an Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. We are a Joint Commission certified Thrombectomy-capable stroke center.

* Key Responsibilities:
*
* Conduct comprehensive Neurological assessments including history, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic studies.
Manage chronic conditions such as dementia, headaches disorders, movement disorders, radiculopathy, and peripheral nerve disease.
Evaluate and triage new patient referrals and follow-up visits.
Order and interpret laboratory studies, diagnostic testing
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans with collaborating physicians
Provide patient education on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and medication management
Participate in care coordination with other providers and specialties.
Document all patient encounters thoroughly and accurately in the Electronic Medical Record
Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practice standards.

* Qualifications:

* Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
National Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Certification (APRN) OR national board certification as a Physician Assistant.
Current Physician Assistant or APRN license in the State of Florida.
2+ years of general Neurology or related experience required
BLS/ACLS
