* * Care provided is appropriate to the age of the patients served, as defined in the scope of service for the Nurse Epidemiologist s area of practice,

***** Evaluates and monitors quality of patient care related to Infection Control.

***** Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of growth and development.

***** Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients.

***** Performs hospital wide surveillance activities.

***** Initiates and participates in related patient care activities.

***** Evaluates and monitors quality of patient care related to Infection Control.

** Minimum Qualifications*
* ***** Graduate of school of nursing is required.

***** Certification in Infection Control preferred.

***** Minimum of two (2) years prior Infection Control experience in an acute care facility is necessary.

***** Excellent verbal and written skills are necessary.
