American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with Level I Trauma experience and required Ortho and Neuro background for a 13-week assignment.

• Work in the Operating Room department of a Level I Trauma hospital
• Day shift schedule (3x12 hours, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM)
• Every other weekend (EOW) rotation required
• On-call responsibilities required
• Must be able to both scrub and circulate
• Must be able to work independently
• Uses Epic EMR system

• Active FL or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room experience required
• Level I Trauma OR experience required
• Ortho and Neuro surgical experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH certifications via AHA required
• Degree from an accredited school or FBON-approved institution required
• If degree is from a non-accredited program, 2 years of recent consecutive acute care experience within the past 24 months in a US hospital is required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidates from Operation Nightingale Schools not accepted

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a smoke-free hospital environment
• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius will be considered at a lower pay rate
• Former Broward Health permanent employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Facility requires completion of a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks and abuse registry review
