Role Summary
Coordinates specialty services such as orthopedic, ophthalmology, neuro, general, GYN, urology, plastics, ENT, CV, cardiac or minimally invasive surgery (including advanced da Vinci and Hybrid). Performs duties as a circulating nurse or scrub person. Assists in establishing and promoting clinical standards for the surgery service as well as staff education in surgery/AORN standards to support patient care objectives.
Essential Qualifications- Associate degree
- Three years of experience
- Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support
- Association of peri Operative Registered Nurses (APRN) certification
- Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) and AORN Member
