Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a night shift position requiring Level I Trauma OR experience and both scrub and circulate abilities.

• Active FL or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience required
• Ortho and Neuro experience required
• Level I Trauma OR experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification via AHA required
• PALS and NIH certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Degree from an accredited school required, or a degree from an FBON-approved institution with 2 years of recent consecutive acute care experience within the past 24 months in a US hospital

• Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
• Level I Trauma OR experience required
• Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts from 20:30-7:00
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• On-call responsibilities required
• Must be able to scrub and circulate
• Uses Epic EMR
• Smoke-free facility
• Must complete a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks and abuse registry review
• Must pass a basic arrhythmia/EKG competency assessment
• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius considered at a lower rate
• Permanent employees must be separated from the facility for 1 year before returning as a traveler
