Bartender

The Lounge Bartender at Honey Fitz is at the heart of our hotel’s all‑day lobby lounge experience, crafting cocktails and conversations that embody both Four Seasons’ genuine care and the artistry of our exclusive partnership with Vice Versa Miami. Collaborating with acclaimed mixologist Valentino Longo, our bartenders bring world‑class technique and creativity to each pour, delivering a beverage program recognized among North America’s finest.

With passion for hospitality and precision in craft, the Lounge Bartender ensures every guest and resident feels at home—whether starting their day with a morning coffee, enjoying an afternoon spritz, or savoring an evening cocktail. This role requires more than skill behind the bar: it calls for storytelling, attention to detail, and a warm presence that transforms a simple drink into a memorable moment.

What

You Will Do
  • Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to recipes.
  • Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the server using the hotel’s point‑of‑sales system; check completed orders with guest’s original order.
  • Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, Armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
  • Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.
What You Bring
  • At least 2 years of high-volume bartending experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits. Ability to upsell.
  • Strong time management skills: ability to multi‑task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of Opera and Micros POS preferred/is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 30 lbs.
