A unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Yacht Retail Charter Broker in Fort Lauderdale.

Position Summary

The Retail Charter Broker will be responsible for generating and managing yacht charter business, cultivating strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional service throughout the charter booking process. This role is ideal for a highly driven, service-oriented professional with a passion for luxury travel and yachting, who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the clients retail charter presence in the U.S. market while upholding the company’s premium brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients seeking luxury yacht charter experiences.
  • Respond promptly to charter inquiries and guide clients through the full booking lifecycle.
  • Provide expert recommendations on yachts, destinations, itineraries, and onboard experiences.
  • Build long-term relationships through proactive communication, follow-ups, and personalized service.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the global charter fleet, including yacht specifications, crew, amenities, and availability.
  • Stay current on charter market trends, seasonal destination opportunities, pricing, and competitor activity.
  • Conduct yacht inspections, attend industry events, and participate in familiarization trips when required.
Negotiation & Booking Execution
  • Negotiate charter terms, contracts, and pricing with yacht owners, managers, and central agents.
  • Prepare detailed charter proposals and client presentations aligned with client standards.
  • Manage charter agreements, APA, payment schedules, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between clients, yacht crew, and support teams before and during the charter.
Business Development & Networking
  • Generate new business through referrals, networking, and strategic outreach.
  • Represent the client at yacht shows, broker events, and luxury lifestyle gatherings.
  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams on campaigns and client engagement strategies.
  • Deliver exceptional client service with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Handle special requests, last-minute changes, and complex itineraries with confidence and efficiency.
  • Ensure every charter experience reflects the clients luxury standards and attention to detail.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a yacht charter broker (retail-focused preferred) with experience in multi-week, international crewed charters
  • Strong knowledge of luxury yachts, global charter destinations, and the charter booking process.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Existing client base is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and administrative capabilities.
  • Comfortable working flexible hours to accommodate international clients and time zones.
  • Proficiency with charter tools/platforms (e.g.,
    Yachtfolio, Charter Pad, etc.) preferred.
  • Professional demeanour with strong luxury hospitality mindset.
