Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a manufacturing client to hire a full-time Business Development Specialist in Miami, FL.
This position does require the flexibility to travel within the US up to 40% of the time.
What you'll do:
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities across the U.S. power transmission and distribution market.
- Build relationships with customers and key decision-makers in engineering, procurement, and operations
- Support quotes, pricing, bids, proposals, and negotiations
- Partner with independent sales representatives to expand market reach and develop accounts
- Drive opportunities forward through the sales cycle
- Identify market trends, competitive activity, and new growth opportunities
- Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows
- Maintain CRM pipeline activity and track sales KPIs
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Engineering, or related field)
- Experience in B2B sales, business development, industrial sales, utility sales, or a technical sales environment
- Strong prospecting, relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Office, CRM, ERP, Power BI, or similar systems
- Experience with power transmission/distribution, electrical products, utilities, or commodities is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
