The Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring successful project execution, and driving growth within existing accounts. Partnering closely with the Business Development team, the Account Manager takes client opportunities from handoff to completion, delivers exceptional service, and identifies upselling opportunities across services such as installation management, construction management, signage, A/V, and flooring. The role primarily focuses on managing and expanding existing client accounts while also supporting new business opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring consistent, high-quality service throughout all project phases.
  • Manage opportunities handed off from Business Development, overseeing projects from scope to execution with attention to detail.
  • Identify and drive upsell opportunities across Company’s service offerings.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: design, procurement, project management - to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Provide proactive updates, manage expectations, and address issues promptly.
  • Support the Business Development team in prospecting, follow-up, and closing select new business opportunities.
  • Track account performance, revenue, and project milestones; report on client activity and growth opportunities.
  • Represent Company’s values and commitment to excellence in every client interaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, interior design, facility management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in account management, client services, or a related role.
  • Experience in a relevant industry, either at an office furniture or commercial interiors company (dealer or service provider) or in a role directly managing or using services similar to those offered by Company, with familiarity of the end-user perspective preferred (e.g., facility management, workplace operations, or office environments).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial interiors and/or contract furniture industry is a plus.
  • Experience supporting or driving upsell opportunities across multiple services.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with a focus on client success.
  • Ability to occasionally work extended hours for client meetings, events, or project deadlines.
