We are seeking a Sales and Purchasing Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting our senior sales and purchasing executives in daily activity to maximize productivity. This is an in-office job at our location in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Responsibilities:- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email and chat
- Verify customers request to have all needed information to provide a quote
- Re-format customer requests as needed for sales team
- Document and update customer records based on interactions
- Prepare quotes for review from senior sales team
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
- Assist purchasing team in getting quotes and organizing responses.
- Evaluate incoming requests to determine their quality
- Assist with scheduling and tracking shipments and filing paperwork details for existing orders
- Fill in for Sales Representatives that are out of office
- Computer Literate
- Math Skills needed
- College Degree Preferred
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
