Primary Purpose
To perform priority clearance morning surveys of sea turtle nests for the Port Everglades FT Bulkhead construction project in compliance with Marine Turtle Permit and Guidelines as set forth by FWC, under the supervision of an FWC permitted Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation program administrator, principal investigator, or project manager.
Temporary employment is of limited duration and, under the terms of NSU's benefits plan and policies, not eligible for company benefits.

Essential Job FunctionsMust be able to complete all required training modules for each component of beach monitoring activities.
Required EducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent.
Required ExperiencePrior field experience and/or experience working with endangered species. Pay rate is set according to experience in marine turtle beach monitoring activities with the Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program.
Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Marine Biology or related area of study.
