The work you will do:

-ADMIN / Fort Lauderdale Maintenance
- Security - Conduct routine site inspections to ensure permitted work meets safety standards and complies with permit requirements by reviewing plans and documentation.
- Coordinate utility permits by managing planning, documentation, compliance with regulations, and communication between stakeholders, while resolving issues and maintaining safety standards.
- Support supervision and coordination of access and drainage permits with similar responsibilities, ensuring all procedures, regulations, and inspection requirements are met.

Annual Salary Range: $52,073.10 - $67,388.71 A Competitive Area Differential (CAD) additive in the amount of $1,976.00 will be added to the annual salary.
Your specific responsibilities:
- Makes routine inspections of permitted sites to ensure work is done safely and in accordance with the permit requirements.
- Coordinate the Utility Permits ensuring compliance with Department procedures, Florida Administrative Code Rules, and the Department's Utility Accommodation Manual.
- Assist and coordinate with the supervisor in the operations of all Access and Drainage Permits ensuring compliance with Department Procedures, Florida Administrative Code Rules, and the Department's Utility Accommodation Manual.
- Prepares and processes permit related information.
- Assist supervisor to coordinate plans and construction review processes.
- Assist in all other miscellaneous permits.
The successful candidate will have the following required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Knowledge of the access management requirements, the utility accommodations guide, and the engineering design, drainage and construction of these operations computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheet software, and electronic mail
- Skilled in the use of engineering tools, equipment and/or instruments speaking, negotiation and dealing with public contractors
- Ability to analyze and interpret engineering data perform technical engineering inspections plan, organize and coordinate work assignments communicate engineering information effectively establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Minimum qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Certificate of High School Equivalency
