• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and following site‑specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate authorities.
• Perform security‑related tasks such as checking identification, verifying credentials, and maintaining detailed incident reports.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel when required during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help deter unauthorized individuals and/or activities.
• Operate communication devices and security‑related equipment in accordance with site protocols.

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
• Applicants must provide one of the following: DD214 with Honorable Discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
