Position: Field Technician

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

• Experience installing and/or servicing access control and alarm/security systems in commercial buildings
• Three years’ experience installing and/or servicing access control, fire, and CCT security systems
• Plan work during the 40-hour week with potential to cover after-hours and weekend emergency calls
• Keep stakeholders informed with timely updates on service calls and installations
• Be a self-starter and work well without supervision
• Complete scheduled projects on time, within budget and within scope
• Demonstrate solid mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to utilize a multimeter
• Complete accurate and detailed service reports for customers and Matrix to enable accurate invoices and job cost tracking
• Maintain exceptional proactive customer focus and the ability to work under pressure

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational/Technical Degree in electronics, security, or computer systems is a plus
• Ability to work in Microsoft Excel and Net Suite
• At least two years of wiring and terminating circuitry systems
• IP Video and IT experience is a plus
• A valid state driver’s license, without restrictions
