Security Guard

Overview

Seekinga professional and dependable Security Guard to provide a safe and secure environment for museum guests, employees, volunteers, contractors, and property. The Security Guard is responsible for monitoring facility access, conducting patrols, responding to emergencies, documenting incidents, enforcing museum policies, and assisting guests and staff as needed. This position serves as a visible security presence and first point of contact for safety and security-related concerns throughout the museum facility.

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Previous security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong observation and communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm during emergencies.
• Basic computer skills.
