About the Role

Poseidon Security Group is seeking dependable and polished unarmed security officers for client-facing roles at hospitality venues and residential sites throughout Broward County, Florida. Assignments include nightclubs, bars, restaurants, and marinas. Officers must embody a balance of professionalism, discretion, and vigilance while maintaining a welcoming presence for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests, tenants, and visitors while maintaining access control
• Check identification and enforce venue-specific entry policies
• Conduct foot patrols and monitor designated posts
• Identify suspicious behavior and deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
• Respond professionally to disturbances and emergencies
• Write detailed incident reports and escalate when needed
• Represent Poseidon Security with a tidy appearance and strong communication

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Florida Class D Security License
• Prior experience in hospitality, residential, or event security preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Must maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance at all times. Officers are expected to present themselves in a professional manner that reflects the high standards of Poseidon and earns client confidence.
• Must be physically able to conduct extended foot patrols and remain alert
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record
• U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED required
