Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Driving Patrol in Miami, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state.
You will also deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and integrity‑driven team.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour
Schedule:
Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM
- Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report details through proper site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the mall location, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and high‑traffic areas, observe customer and visitor activity, and communicate with management and/or local responders when needed regarding security‑related concerns.
- Support retail and mall operations by assisting with crowd management, directing foot traffic, and documenting incidents, hazards, and/or policy violations according to post orders.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security‑related license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
