Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as retail/malls. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a premier retail mall location, conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to discourage security incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requires a valid driver’s license.
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 02:45 PM - 11:15 PM
What You’ll Do- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations calmly, professionally, and with problem‑solving, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe activity across the location to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and suspicious behavior.
- Support a welcoming shopping environment by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and reporting maintenance, hazards, and security concerns to appropriate personnel.
- A valid driver’s license (required for driving positions).
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment as per state/local laws.
