We currently have an opportunity for a well‑rounded and seasoned Safety & Security Officer to join our Pier Sixty‑Six Resort team! Reporting to the Director of Security, you will manage and provide the highest degree of professional and courteous service while ensuring the safety and security of all guests, members, associates, visitors and protecting the resort's assets. The Safety & Security Attendant will monitor CCTV, fire life safety systems, duress alarms and patrol all areas of the property.
Responsibilities- Ensures the safety and security of all guests, members, team members, patrons, and visitors.
- Provides professional courteous service and protects the resort’s assets.
- Adheres to office policies set by security management.
- Assists guests in accessing their rooms or facilitates entry according to hotel standards.
- Maintains continual surveillance of resort areas, bordering property, and CCTV systems.
- Uses proper radio etiquette.
- Responds to all incidents promptly.
- Completes all incident reports accurately.
- Responds to emergencies, including medical, security, and guest complaints.
- Controls all keys within established guidelines.
- Checks all packages and team member bags via the team member entrance/exit or parking areas.
- Maintains awareness of suspicious persons and escorts them off the property if warranted.
- Conducts rounds throughout the resort, paying attention to unsecured areas.
- Receives and processes all lost and found items per procedures.
- Responds to all guest requests immediately.
- Performs any additional duties as required by management.
- Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment.
- Proven ability to handle a multitude of tasks in an ever‑changing environment.
- First Aid and CPR certifications preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Shift, Key Watcher, SALTO is a plus.
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in a luxury resort or equivalent.
- Speaks English; second language is a plus.
- Works flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and can perform multiple tasks.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High school diploma.
