Overview

The Unarmed Corporate Security Agent provides security services to a range of client sites including federal agencies, manufacturing facilities, schools, religious institutions, retail locations, and other designated sites. Key responsibilities include protecting property and persons, monitoring access, responding to alarms, maintaining logs, and ensuring security systems operate effectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Protect property and life
  • Monitor entrance/egress of property
  • Identify visitors and verify documentation
  • Guard against theft and maintain security
  • Respond to alarms and calls of distress
  • Complete accurate daily and incident reports
  • Prevent prohibited vehicles and unauthorized people from entering restricted areas
  • Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery for operational use
  • Regulate and monitor building systems
  • Verify windows and doors locks are in place and functional
  • Complete all required security logs
  • Communicate effectively with client management, employees, and visitors
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum age 18 years
  • Professional appearance and ability to wear uniform neatly and correctly
  • Excellent verbal and written customer service skills
  • Alertness and ability to handle escalated or emergency situations
  • Multitasking ability
  • Computer proficiency and ability to operate other security devices
  • Applicable training and licensures as required by client and state
Physical Demands

Stand and walk for long periods of time during a shift, and carry out other tasks as necessary.
