Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Observer is a part‑time position where you will serve and safeguard clients in a government location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security‑related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service.

$21.91 / Hour

Tuesday 09:30 AM – 08:00 PM, Saturday 09:30 AM – 06:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while following post instructions and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to deter unauthorized activity and unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, visitor activity, and restricted areas, verify access permissions as directed, and document observations, incidents, and policy‑related concerns.
• Support staff and visitors with directions, information, and assistance during routine operations, special events, and changing site conditions.

• Security experience – at least 1 year.
• 21+ years of age.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Handcuffs/pepper spray/baton experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required only for driving positions.
