Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $22.92 / Hour
Job Schedule: Tue 06:30 AM – 06:00 PM;
Wed 06:30 AM – 06:00 PM
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Screen visitors, staff, and/or personal items in accordance with site protocols, and report prohibited items, irregularities, and/or access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following post orders and established communication procedures.
- Monitor entrances, screening equipment, and/or access points to help support authorized entry and document daily activities, incidents, and/or observations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter as assigned, noting unusual conditions and communicating findings to site leadership.
- Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Possess a college degree.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a corrections officer license.
- Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge, or possess an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
- Possess a law enforcement officer license.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
