** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate hospital personnel and public emergency services as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and investigate unusual activity, following applicable policies for visitor management, restricted areas, and incident reporting.

+ Maintain required documentation, including patrol activity, incidents, observations, and shift communications, while adhering to applicable laws, policies, and post orders.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Have at least 1 year of armed security related, corrections, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ Guard cardi is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
