As a Security Officer Identity Screening in Miami, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener supporting a government location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, identifying potential concerns, and providing professional customer service. You will use strong communication skills and attention to detail to help deter incidents while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

• Provide customer service to visitors and personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals and belongings using assigned screening equipment and established procedures; communicate screening concerns to appropriate site representatives.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry in accordance with government location requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.
• Maintain a professional presence at assigned screening points to help deter unauthorized entry and support orderly visitor flow.

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED, as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
