As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures, documenting observations and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain daily activity logs, and communicate relevant security-related information to supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have supervisory experience.
• Guard card is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
