Overview
Our client has an immediate position available for a Fire and Security alarm technician to join their team. The role involves installing and servicing Access Control, Fire, Intrusion/Burglary, and CCTV systems. Technicians may also work on network‑based systems, including IP video solutions or access control solutions. Service, maintenance, and installation tasks will be performed independently and as part of a team.
The candidate will also participate in an on‑call service rotation.
- Install, service, and maintain fire, burglar, and intrusion alarm systems.
- Cable, configure, and troubleshoot low‑voltage and network‑based security systems.
- Work with hand tools, power tools, and ladders or scaffolding.
- Lift up to 75 lbs. to carry equipment, ladders or tools.
- Support on‑call service rotation.
- Install, service, and maintain CCTV, Access Control, Cabling, Low voltage, fire alarm, burglar alarm.
- Experience with Axis, Avigilon, Hikvision, DSX, Honeywell, Firelite/Silent Knight, Lenel, Interlogix.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to work on ladders and/or scaffolding.
- Physical ability to lift 50–75 lbs.
Contract to Hire position based in Davie, FL.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 – $35.00 per hour.
