Security Door Technician

The Security Door Technician is a full-time, on-site role located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of security doors, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues with door mechanisms and access control systems. The technician will collaborate with clients to ensure the proper functioning of security systems, provide consultations as needed, and adhere to safety and security protocols during all tasks.

Maintaining an organized workspace and accurate documentation of work is also integral to this role.

• Experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of security doors, locks, and related mechanisms.
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting access control systems and general security systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving security door and system issues.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance with security industry standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills for client interactions.
• Capability to work independently and adapt to changing situations on-site.
• Basic technical skills, including familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Previous experience in security or locksmithing is preferred but not mandatory.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits.
