Our Global Field Service Department is looking for a dependable Field Service Technician team member. This position reports to the Area Manager of Security Field Service and covers Fort Lauderdale Airport and surrounding areas.

Role PurposeThe Field Service Technician delivers exceptional customer service by diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing electronic and mechanical repairs, documenting service reports, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities- Diagnose errors and technical problems and determine proper solutions.
- Apply good electronic and mechanical repair troubleshooting methodology and maintain technical product knowledge.
- Document and produce timely, detailed service reports.
- Exceed company and customer requirements whenever possible.
- Respond to customer needs and build positive relationships.
- Ensure all tools and calibrated equipment are properly maintained at all times.
- Meet daily service needs at assigned sites and locations.
- Plan and perform repairs and preventative maintenance independently in the field.
- Schedule work based on field needs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years of troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Excellent time‑management skills and ability to complete small field projects on schedule.
- Technically savvy; quick to learn and adapt to new technology.
- Professional demeanor with a customer‑focused attitude.
- Strong written and oral communication skills for detailed reporting and effective interaction with customers.
- Flexible and open to a fluid schedule and work environment.
- Must pass a criminal background check, drug test, pre‑employment physical, and credit check.
- Capable of safely performing essential physical functions of the job.
- Capable of safely meeting essential qualitative and quantitative productivity standards.
- Must obtain and maintain an Airport in compliance with the Airport Security Plan and TSA regulations, and the required public trust security clearance (eApp). Must be authorized to handle Sensitive Security Information (SSI).
- Must have a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and the ability to travel up to 10% of the time by plane domestically and internationally. Real passport required for international travel.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (green card) is required.
- Must be able to work overtime and variable hours as needed by business demands.
