Commercial Carpenter Position
Currently hiring commercial carpenters for a short term renovation project in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Primary responsibilities for a Commercial Carpenter in this role includes demoing cabinets, door replacements, and the removal and installation of a new wall. Pay is $30-$32/hour based on experience and skill set. If you have 5 or more years of experience as a commercial carpenter apply now!
CommercialCarpenter Responsibilities
- Demo cabinets, replace doors, removing and installing walls
- Assemble, erect and repair frameworks - wood and metal
- Install flooring, windows, doors, interior trim, cabinetry, roofing, siding, insulation, drywall, and more.
- Ability to do trim and finish work
- Ability to hang and finish drywall
- Install floors, roofs, and walls
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
- Ability to design your own layout is preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and follow OSHA safety regulations
- 5+ years of proven experience as a carpenter in commercial settings
- OSHA 10 or 30 is a plus
- Your own tools and PPE
- Valid Driver's License and your own reliable transportation
