Industrial Electrician

The City of Fort Lauderdale seeks an Industrial Electrician to support essential public services across municipal facilities, utilities, and infrastructure. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, controls, switch gear, lighting, and power distribution equipment. You will troubleshoot complex electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, interpret electrical schematics, and ensure full compliance with NEC and safety standards.

Working on-site across city locations, you will collaborate with public works and utilities teams, respond to emergencies, and help keep this growing coastal community running safely and reliably.
