Position Summary

Advanced Air Systems is looking for an experienced HVAC Technical Supervisor to support our commercial service team through hands‑on field oversight, technician support, and quality control. This role supports commercial HVAC service operations by overseeing the quality, safety, and execution of service work. The position is split 50% between office responsibilities and 50% on‑site job visits, supporting technicians, reviewing work, and addressing technical or service‑related issues.

While the role does not have direct reports, it has the authority to train, coach, and discipline service technicians to ensure compliance with company standards and customer expectations. The HVAC Technical Supervisor also assists with customer issues, job scoping, service coordination, and technician reporting, and works closely with the HVAC Service Manager to support daily service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce branch objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality of commercial HVAC service work through job site visits and inspections.
  • Support assigned customer relationships and assist with issue and conflict resolution.
  • Monitor technician safety performance and ensure compliance with company and OSHA safety programs.
  • Assist with job scoping and estimating for repairs, replacements, and maintenance work.
  • Meet regularly with technicians to review daily work activities and ensure job readiness.
  • Respond to on‑site incidents and service emergencies in accordance with company procedures.
  • Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule, including weekends.
  • Assist with diagnosing and resolving complex technical HVAC issues.
  • Train, coach, and discipline technicians as needed to address technical or performance issues.
