Role Description This full-time Irrigation Technician role is a hybrid position based in Davie, FL, with primary work performed on-site at client properties and some tasks completed from the office, such as documentation and scheduling. The Irrigation Technician installs, inspects, and maintains irrigation systems, including valves, controllers, sprinklers, and piping to ensure efficient water distribution. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues, performing repairs and adjustments, monitoring water usage, and coordinating with team members to support overall landscape maintenance.
The role also involves communicating with clients about service needs, documenting work performed, following safety protocols, and occasionally assisting in training or guiding crew members.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Irrigation and Troubleshooting skills to install, diagnose, and repair irrigation systems efficiently.
- Candidates should possess Landscape Maintenance skills to support overall property care, including coordination with irrigation needs.
- Candidates should possess Communication and Supervisory Skills to interact professionally with clients, collaborate with team members, and, when needed, guide field staff.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift moderate weights as part of daily field tasks.
- Basic knowledge of irrigation controllers, timers, and water conservation practices; prior experience in landscaping or irrigation is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications in irrigation or landscape maintenance are a plus.
