About Us
We're partnering with an established aerospace manufacturer seeking an Electronics Technician to troubleshoot, test, and repair complex electronic assemblies used in critical aerospace applications. This is a hands-on position focused on component-level troubleshooting, electronic testing, and PCB repair. Candidates with strong electronics troubleshooting experience from aerospace, defense, avionics, communications/RF, medical devices, industrial electronics, and other technical environments are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot electronic assemblies and circuit boards down to the component level
- Diagnose failures using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, function generators, and other electronic test equipment
- Identify failed components including resistors, capacitors, diodes, ICs, and other circuitry
- Perform soldering, de-soldering, PCB repair, and component replacement
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Test and verify electronic assemblies to ensure proper functionality and specifications
- Document troubleshooting, repairs, and test results
- Partner with Engineering and Quality to resolve technical issues
What You Bring
- 3+ years of hands-on electronics troubleshooting experience
- Experience troubleshooting electronic circuits or PCBs down to the component level
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and analog/digital electronics
- Experience using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and other electronic test equipment
- Ability to read and troubleshoot from electrical schematics
- PCB repair and soldering experience preferred
- Associate degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology, military electronics training, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
- Experience working within IPC, AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA, or other regulated quality environments preferred
