This is a full-time, on-site Painters role located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Painters will prepare interior and exterior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming, ensuring proper conditions for paint and coatings application. Daily responsibilities include mixing and matching paint colors, applying paint and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. Painters will follow project plans and safety guidelines, work with supervisors and other trades to meet deadlines, and perform touch-ups and final inspections to ensure quality standards.

The role may also involve minor decorating tasks, such as trim work and finishing details, as required by specific projects.

• Candidates should possess skills in paint selection and basic paint handling, including mixing and matching colors.
• Candidates should possess skills in painting and decorating for interior and exterior surfaces, including detail work and finishing.
• Candidates should possess skills in coatings application, including understanding of different coating types and proper surface preparation.
• Candidates should possess skills in general painting techniques, including brush, roller, and hand-applied methods.
• Candidates should possess skills in spray painting, including safe operation of spray equipment and consistent coverage control.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, drawings, and safety instructions.
• Experience in residential and/or commercial painting preferred; apprenticeship or vocational training is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Capability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and working on ladders or scaffolding as needed.
