Modern Home Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Licensed Plumber / Water Treatment Installer to join our growing team serving Fort Lauderdale and surrounding South Florida communities.

This position involves the installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of residential and light commercial water treatment systems, including water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, whole-home filtration equipment, iron and sulfur removal systems, UV disinfection systems, and related plumbing connections.

We are looking for a dependable professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, provides excellent customer service, and is comfortable working independently in customers' homes and businesses.

• Install residential and light commercial water softeners and conditioners
• Install reverse osmosis drinking water systems
• Install whole-home filtration systems
• Install UV water disinfection and purification systems
• Install iron, sulfur and specialty filtration equipment
• Complete required plumbing modifications and connections
• Work with PEX, copper, PVC and other commonly used plumbing materials
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair water treatment equipment
• Perform scheduled maintenance and service work
• Inspect installation locations and determine appropriate equipment placement
• Ensure installations comply with applicable plumbing requirements and company standards
• Maintain a clean, safe and professional work environment
• Educate customers on the proper operation and basic maintenance of their equipment
• Provide professional and courteous service while working in customers' homes and businesses
• Communicate effectively with management, customer service and other team members regarding installations and service calls

• Florida plumbing license preferred
  , or equivalent professional plumbing and installation experience
• Minimum 2 years of plumbing, installation or closely related experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems
• Experience working with PEX, copper and PVC piping
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing and equipment issues
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and manage scheduled appointments
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with plumbing and water treatment equipment installation

Previous experience installing or servicing water treatment equipment is considered a strong asset, particularly experience with:

• Water softeners and conditioners
• Reverse osmosis drinking water systems
• Whole-home filtration systems
• Carbon filtration
• UV water disinfection systems
• Iron and sulfur removal systems
• Well-water treatment equipment
• Residential and light commercial water treatment systems

Candidates with strong plumbing experience who do not have extensive water treatment experience are also encouraged to apply.
Training on our water treatment products and installation procedures will be provided.
