Job Type: Full-time About the Role Industrial Shadeports is seeking dependable, safety-conscious individuals to assemble and install outdoor shade structures (fabric canopies, steel frames, tension systems). We are looking for motivated installers with leadership potential who can step into a Foreman role to lead the team and manage job sites.

With time and experience, a potential foreman would be skilled in constructive and collaborative communications with Project Management, Clients and Install Crew. They would also develop practical solutions to obstacles to keep the project schedule and budget on track and ensure the work is done right the first time.

Key Responsibilities Logistics:
Safely load, transport, and unload installation materials using company vehicles.

Installation:
Assemble and erect steel and fabric shade structures according to blueprints and engineering specs.

Site Prep & Labor:
Dig holes, pour concrete, secure footings, and handle heavy materials.

Tool & Asset Management:
Maintain strict organization of company tools and inventory in the shop, the truck and on the job site.

Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all work meets strict safety standards, OSHA guidelines, and local building codes.

Qualifications Driving Record:
Valid driver’s license (must be insurable under company commercial policy) and reliable transportation.

Physical Ability:
Able to lift 50–75 lbs and perform strenuous outdoor labor in varying weather conditions.

Skills:

Experience with hand/power tools, lifts, ladders and scaffolding and the ability to read construction drawings.

Travel:
Willingness to travel to various job sites, including occasional overnight stays.

Traits:
Strong organizational skills, highly safety-conscious, dependable work ethic and clear, collaborative communication.

Preferred:
Prior construction/installation experience, forklift/lift certifications, or OSHA 10/30.
