Location: Southeast Florida | Broward, Miami-Dade & Palm Beach Counties
Compensation: $75,000–$90,000+ annually

Air Force HVAC is a growing South Florida HVAC company providing commercial HVAC service, maintenance, repair, and installation throughout the tri-county area.
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Technician who can handle complex diagnostics, repairs, and installations while serving as a technical leader for the field team.
This is a hands-on role — not a desk job. You’ll spend the majority of your time in the field troubleshooting equipment, completing repairs, supporting installations, and helping less-experienced technicians develop their skills.
What You'll Do- Diagnose, service, maintain, repair, and install commercial HVAC systems
- Work with VRF, VAV, rooftop units, split systems, package units, and related commercial equipment
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, airflow, controls, and refrigerant issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential equipment failures
- Handle advanced service calls and technical issues escalated by other technicians
- Support commercial equipment replacements and installations
- Serve as a technical mentor to junior and mid-level technicians
- Maintain high standards for workmanship, safety, efficiency, and code compliance
- Communicate findings, repair recommendations, and equipment needs clearly with customers and management
- Maintain accurate job notes, photos, parts usage, and service documentation
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC field experience
- Strong experience with VRF, VAV, rooftop units, package units, and commercial split systems
- Advanced mechanical, electrical, airflow, and refrigerant diagnostic skills
- Experience with commercial HVAC service, maintenance, repair, and installation
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment documentation
- Comfortable troubleshooting complex systems independently
- Ability to mentor and support less-experienced technicians
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Experience with Jobber, Housecall Pro, or similar field-service software
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
$75,000–$90,000+ annually
