About Recovery UnpluggedRecovery Unplugged uses music as a therapeutic tool in its innovative approach to addiction treatment. We aim to break down defenses, engage clients, and inspire long-term recovery in a dynamic, client-focused environment. We are seeking a full time group facilitator for our Fort Lauderdale location.
Job Duties- Lead 12-15 groups per week, preparing and facilitating discussions
- Incorporate Recovery Unplugged’s philosophy and tailor groups to client needs
- Present personal experience, manage group flow, and maintain safety during sessions
- Complete daily group notes in KIPU, reviewed by clinical staff
- Monitor and ensure client safety and behavior during group
- Set up, operate, and maintain musical equipment in sessions
- Report any client safety concerns promptly
- Assist with timely attendance and group participation
- Make a meaningful impact on clients' recovery journeys
- Work in an energetic, supportive environment that values creativity and client care
- Collaborate with a passionate team dedicated to improving treatment outcomes

- Bachelor's (Required)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related human services field
- Basic understanding of addiction and the disease model
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Quick thinking and problem‑solving abilities
- Recovery knowledge and experience preferred
- Love for music; musicianship is a plus
- Excellent time management skills and client‑focused attitude
