QA Engineer

We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our SaaS platform. This role requires expertise in manual and automated testing, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving software issues.

The QA Engineer will play a critical role in defining, implementing, and maintaining test strategies that ensure the delivery of high-quality software. This individual will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and Dev Ops teams to establish best practices and enhance test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of test automation, API testing, performance testing, and CI/CD processes.

• Develop, document, and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for web-based SaaS applications.
• Perform manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance, security, and usability.
• Ensure test coverage across UI, API, database, and end-to-end workflows.

• Design and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Develop automated tests for regression, performance, and load testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS Code Pipeline).

• Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA, Test Rail, or similar tools.
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Provide detailed reports on test progress, defects, and software quality metrics.

• Conduct load, stress, and scalability testing to ensure system reliability.
• Work with security teams to implement vulnerability assessments and security best practices.

• Advocate for shift-left testing and integrate quality practices early in the development cycle.
• Define and improve QA best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or other test automation tools.
• Strong expertise in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or SoapUI.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, Locust, or Gatling.
• Knowledge of database testing (Postgre
  
  SQL, MySQL) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with Agile development and Scrum/Kanban methodologies.

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• ISTQB Certified Tester – Advanced Level, AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer, or equivalent certifications - Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
