The CBS Sports Data Delivery & Insights team is responsible for providing data that help power user experience platforms across a wide variety of client products. The team works closely with vendors to ingest data, transform it, and provide to clients in a number of ways including APIs and real-time streaming services. The team also works hand-in-hand with our clients to ensure data quality, coverage, and availability.

Our objective is to provide accurate and relevant data on time.

• Approximately 85% of the Intern’s work would involve:
  Working with the team on high level design documentation, writing software code related to a specific data project, testing software, and writing any pertinent documentation for the project.
• Approximately 15% of the Intern’s work will involve:
  Attending daily/weekly team meetings and project meetings as scheduled.

• Working towards Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Interest in Software Engineering or Data Engineering
• Java script/Typescript knowledge
• Databases – relational (MySQL), noSql (Mongo
  
  DB)
• Knowledge of Graph
  
  QL a plus

• Internships are available to students who will be Seniors or Master’s students in the fall of 2026. If you are a graduating Senior, please check our website for full-time job opportunities.
• You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
• Interns will be required to work fully on-site for the duration of the program.

• Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
