We are seeking an experienced technical/engineering lead to join our team. This is a hybrid/in office position based in our Fort Lauderdale office. As Lead, eCommerce Engineering you’ll spearhead the development and optimization of our digital commerce platforms, driving innovation and technical excellence across customer‑facing web applications. This role blends strategic leadership with hands‑on engineering, ensuring seamless user experiences, robust architecture, and scalable solutions that support our business growth.

• Lead cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver high‑performing e‑commerce solutions, architecting and implementing scalable, secure and responsive web applications using modern frameworks such as React and Next.js.
• Mentor and grow a team of e‑commerce developers and engineers, assigning tasks, reviewing code and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Define and implement the technical roadmap for e‑commerce platforms, evaluating emerging technologies and recommending adoption where beneficial.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers and stakeholders to translate business goals into technical deliverables and align architecture decisions with scalability, performance and security needs.
• Oversee development of core e‑commerce features (catalog, checkout, payments, order management), manage integrations with CRM, booking engine, logistics and third‑party APIs, and drive optimization of site performance, SEO and accessibility.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks and monitoring systems, ensuring compliance with PCI DSS, GDPR and other data protection standards.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, oversee the full software development lifecycle and maintain platform reliability, performance and compliance with accessibility (WCAG), security (PCI) and data privacy standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Proven ability to build productive collaborative relationships and motivate team members.
• Experience in planning, analysis and design of software application strategies and knowledge of the system development life cycle.
• Deep understanding of modern web technologies, including React, API gateways and serverless architecture.
• Strong experience with web system architecture components such as Akamai/CDN, DNS, SSL and event‑driven architecture.
• Strong experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe target, Analytics, session recording and personalization tools.
• Experience with microservices, SPAs and Angular preferred.
• Strong understanding of WCAG, PCI, PII, encryption requirements.
• Experience with product testing and driving results through iterative testing.

This is a hybrid/in office position based in our Fort Lauderdale office. Candidates must be comfortable coming into the office 4 days per week (Monday‑Thursday).
