Established Marine Towing and Salvage company is seeking a deckhand to assist with towing, launch, salvage, maintenance and other tasks. We promote from within; deckhands become patrol captains so please do not apply unless this is your ultimate goal. We offer excellent pay and outstanding opportunities to earn, develop and grow.
Responsibilities- Assist with towing, launch, salvage, maintenance and other tasks.
- Willingness to learn from others and to make appropriate decisions in challenging situations and focus on getting things done.
- Live in or near Fort Lauderdale.
- Currently have a USCG Captain’s license or the desire, sea time and other qualifications to become a Captain in the near future.
- Current STCW certification and TWIC card are a plus.
- Current driver’s license, and valid passport are a must.
- Scuba certification is a plus.
- Good vessel maintenance skills, previous experience at sea, and experience with cranes and heavy loads are preferred.
