Job Summary
Fort Lee Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a position at Fort Lee High School.
Qualifications- Must hold a Teacher of the Handicapped (TOH) certificate or a NJ K-12 instructional certificate with a Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) endorsement.
- In-Class Resource experience preferred.
- Experience working with high school students.
- Knowledge of special education practices, including development and implementation of IEPs.
- Knowledge of NJ Student Learning Standards.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Full time, tenure track, 10 month position, with benefits.
Salary RangeBased on FLEA salary guide which ranges between $64,375 to $121,709, commensurate with experience.
