Job Summary
Fort Lee Public Schools is seeking a Special Education English Language Arts Teacher for Lewis
F. Cole Middle School to teach 7th and 8th grade students.
- Must hold a New Jersey Teacher of English Language Arts 5–8 or K–12 English certificate, plus the Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) endorsement.
- Experience working with middle school students.
- Knowledge of special education practices, including development and implementation of IEPs.
- Knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards in English Language Arts.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Full time, tenure track, 10‑month position, with benefits.
Salary RangeBased on the FLEA salary guide which ranges between $64,375 to $121,709, commensurate with experience.
Position Start DateSeptember 1, 2026, plus NTO.
